Manufacturing Plant Head (Diamond & Jewelry Export Business)

We have been mandated by our client which is a well-established large size diamond & jewelry export company to scout for a experienced Manufacturing Plant Head.

Position : Manufacturing Head

Job Location : Mumbai

Experience : Min 10 to 15 Yrs in manufacturing environment

Must have : Valid US B1/B2 Visa

Industry Preference : Candidate should be from Gems & Jewellery

:

- Assimilate new production systems and methods at the gemstone factory

- Ensure that the new production method stays on quality, throughput and timeline

- Monitor a plant's gemstone manufacturing related coordination

- Responsible for Quality control for all products produced in house.

- Responsible to ensure all manufacturing process and procedures are being practiced and followed.

- Coordination of efforts with Corporate Maintenance department in order to keep all production equipment running at optimum level.

- Prepare reports and handle projects as assigned by Sr. Management.

Desired candidates profile :

- Knowledge of Higher end Manufacturing

- Knowledge about Diamonds (Cut, Color, Clarity)

- Through Knowledge of Final and Process Quality

- Leading team of decent size manpower

- Ready to shift and settle down out of India (Final Destination not yet decided)

- Knowledge about Logistic

- Candidate should have valid USA Visa

- Good English Speaking

- Good at calculation

- Have sound knowledge about Labor cost (worldwide )
