Job Responsibilities:

Plan and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer orders, production capacity, and manpower availability. Allocate machines and operators effectively to achieve production targets with maximum efficiency. Lead, supervise, and manage the entire production team, ensuring smooth workflow, productivity, and achievement of daily targets. Monitor daily production performance, including target vs. actual output, downtime, rejections, and losses, and take corrective and preventive actions. Ensure quality checks are implemented at every stage of production in coordination with the Quality team. Work closely with Purchase, Quality, and Maintenance departments to avoid material shortages, quality issues, and machine breakdowns. Prepare production reports, MIS data, and participate in regular review meetings with management. Ensure strict compliance with safety rules, including PPE usage, 5S implementation, and workplace discipline. Ensure production is carried out as per market requirements and business demands, avoiding delays or negligence that may affect company performance. Maintain and update production and job-related records accurately in the ERP system as well as offline documentation. Responsible for hiring, deployment, training, and performance management of operators. Ensure 100% achievement of production targets and proper completion of all production-related reports by operators.

Essential to nail the Job:

Education

: Diploma / Graduate / Postgraduate in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering

Experience:

10-15 years in manufacturing operations, with at least 4, 5 years in a managerial role (hydraulic pump manufacturing preferred)

Skills:

Production planning & scheduling, process optimization, resource management, quality compliance, cost control

IT Skills:

MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), ERP / Production Planning Software

Salary (CTC):

As per industry standard

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
