We are seeking an experienced Operations Head to manage and optimize end-to-end operations of our Shrimp Processing Unit. The role demands strong expertise in production planning, quality compliance, manpower management, and cost control while ensuring timely delivery and adherence to international food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Plant Operations:
- Lead day-to-day operations of shrimp processing including raw material intake, processing, freezing, packing, cold storage, and dispatch.
- Ensure optimal capacity utilization and production efficiency as per sales plans.
- Monitor yields, recovery ratios, wastage, and processing losses.
Quality & Compliance:
- Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, BRC, BAP, ASC, EU, USFDA, and customer-specific standards.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of non-conformities.
- Work closely with QA/QC teams to maintain zero-rejection standards.
Manpower & Shift Management:
- Plan and manage manpower deployment including permanent staff and contract labor.
- Control overtime, absenteeism, and productivity norms.
- Ensure discipline, safety, and hygiene practices across the plant.
