to lead overall manufacturing operations at our food processing facility. The role involves managing production, quality, maintenance, compliance, and team performance with a strong focus on food safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee full plant operations: roasting, de-skinning, sorting, packaging, dispatch
Drive production planning and ensure output meets quality and efficiency goals
Implement and maintain FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, ISO/FSSC 22000 systems
Monitor KPIs, reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement (Lean, 5S, Kaizen)
Manage raw material inventory, FIFO/FEFO, and coordinate with stores/procurement
Ensure compliance with labor, safety, and environmental regulations
Lead audits and maintain accurate production documentation
Requirements:
Master's degree in Food Science or related field
10+ years of experience in plant/operations management in the food industry (roasted nuts/snacks preferred)
Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and audit protocols
