Job Description

Key Responsibilities



Maintenance & Engineering Excellence



o Lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for all production and utility



equipment -- from bar lines and powder blenders to chocolate processing and packaging



machines.



o Build and implement a robust Preventive Maintenance (PM) calendar and digital tracking



system (CMMS).



o Drive Root-Cause Analysis (RCA) and ensure zero-repeat breakdowns.



o Manage AMCs, spare part planning, and vendor performance to ensure reliability and cost



efficiency.



?O? Projects, Commissioning & Expansion



o Lead installation and commissioning of new production lines and technologies -- from



FAT/SAT to full-scale ramp-up.



o Collaborate with OEMs, consultants, and internal teams for process optimization and



capacity scaling.



o Drive layout design, utility planning, and compliance for the new plant project, MEP & Infrastructure



o Oversee Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) systems design, execution, and



maintenance for both plants.



o Manage utilities -- power, water, compressed air, HVAC, ETP/STP, and fire-fighting systems.



o Ensure all MEP work adheres to safety, statutory, and GMP standards.



o Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project consultants for on-time, within-budget



project delivery.



O.o.? Facilities, Housekeeping & Upkeep



o Maintain world-class hygiene and GMP standards across production and non-production



areas.



o Oversee the upkeep of buildings, roads, canteens, and storage facilities.



o Partner with QA and Admin for pest control, sanitation, and waste management SOPs.



+ Team Leadership



o Lead the engineering, maintenance, and utilities teams with strong on-ground presence.



o Build team capability through structured skill training and ownership culture.



o Collaborate closely with Production and QA to drive continuous improvement across



operations.



Key Requirements



o Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering



o Experience: 10-15 years in FMCG / Food / Nutraceutical manufacturing



Proven expertise in:



o Preventive & predictive maintenance systems



o Utility management and MEP projects



o Machine installation & commissioning



o CAPEX planning and project management



o FSSAI / GMP / ISO compliance



o Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and vendor management
