Job Purpose

The Pre-Production Coordinator is responsible for building or coordinating the building of pre-production runs.

Key Responsibilities

Act as liaison to other departments and team members relating to pre-production needs. Performs or coordinates with production staff on necessary processes needed to build pre-production units. Trains team members, or interfaces with leadership to determine training needs. Coordinate materials and schedules to align with production schedules. May lead or contribute to production improvement initiatives. Read and interpret, and verify blueprints and sketches of products according to specifications. Maintain applicable records.
