Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

• Experience in electrical circuit design related to NPI NPD roles.
• A solid understanding of DFX principles--DFM, DFA, DFT, DFR, DFC, and more--and the ability to apply them in real design scenarios.
• Familiar with key industry standards such as IPC, JEDEC, IEEE, UL, and other guidelines that help ensure safe and reliable designs.
• Skilled in using CAD/ECAD tools, 3D cable routing software, PLM systems, and component data management platforms.
• Experienced with structured problem-solving tools like DFMEA, PFMEA, 8D, 5-Why, and fishbone diagrams.
• Comfortable working with high-voltage systems and understanding the safety considerations that come with them.
• A good grasp of thermal management basics for power electronics, as well as general electrical reliability concepts.
• Able to read, interpret, and create engineering documentation such as wiring diagrams, schematics, test procedures, and BOMs.
• Clear and confident communicator who can work well with cross-functional teams across design, manufacturing, quality, and testing.
• Adaptable and organized, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment while driving issues to closure.
