- Planning Manager (Power Supply, OHE & E&M)

Position: Planning Manager

Location: Mumbai (Project Site)

Project: Metro Rail - Power Supply, OHE & E&M Works

Engagement: Full-time, till completion of Design-Build Period

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:

Graduate in Electrical Engineering with

minimum 8 years

total work experience, OR Diploma in Electrical Engineering with

minimum 10 years

total work experience.

Relevant Similar Experience:

Graduate - Minimum

8 years

in

Planning & Scheduling

of Metro Rail / Suburban Rail / Mainline Rail projects. Diploma - Minimum

10 years

in

Planning & Scheduling

of projects related to

Power Supply, OHE & E&M

.

Mandatory Expertise:

Proficiency in

Primavera (P6)

and

MS Project

. Experience in

resource loading, cost tracking, project monitoring, and delay analysis

.

Deployment Requirement:

Candidate must be posted

full-time in Mumbai

for this project only, till completion of the Design-Build period.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Scheduling

Develop, update, and maintain

baseline project schedules

using Primavera/MS Project. Prepare

Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)

, network diagrams, and activity schedules. Define project milestones, critical paths, and resource allocation. Prepare

weekly, monthly, and quarterly look-ahead schedules

.

2. Monitoring & Control

Track progress of

Power Supply, OHE & E&M works

against baseline schedule. Identify

delays, bottlenecks, and risks

, and propose corrective actions. Prepare

progress S-curves, histograms, and variance analysis reports

. Support project team in

forecasting timelines and resource requirements

.

3. Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with

Project Manager, site execution teams, client, and consultants

. Conduct

weekly and monthly progress review meetings

with stakeholders. Prepare

MIS reports, dashboards, and client presentations

. Ensure planning documents comply with client (Ircon/MMRDA) submission requirements.

4. Resource & Cost Management

Prepare

resource-loaded schedules

for manpower, equipment, and materials. Monitor

procurement timelines, cash flow forecasts, and budget utilization

. Conduct

Earned Value Analysis (EVA)

for monitoring project performance.

5. Quality, Safety & Compliance

Ensure planned activities are in line with

safety and quality standards

. Integrate

safety milestones and inspection hold points

in project schedules. Provide planning support during

audits, inspections, and client reviews

.

Technical Skills & Competencies

Strong command over

Primavera P6 & MS Project

. Good knowledge of

OHE (25kV), Power Supply, GIS substations, and E&M works

. Skilled in

delay analysis, time impact analysis, and recovery planning

. Proficiency in

Excel, PowerPoint, and project reporting tools

. Excellent

coordination, communication, and analytical skills

.

Documentation & Deliverables

Baseline and revised project schedules. Weekly & monthly progress reports with S-curves. Delay analysis and recovery plans. Resource and cost-loaded schedules. Final project completion reports for client handover.

Ability to work in a

fast-paced metro rail project environment

. Must be

committed to full-time posting in Mumbai

till project completion. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for managing multiple stakeholders.

Pay: ?600,000.00 - ?1,400,000.00 per year
