Titan, a leading manufacturer of watches and wearables, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Planning & Inventory Management Engineer to join our team in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, India. As a member of our Engineering department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain.



Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize costs Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments as needed to meet production demands Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan production schedules Analyze data and provide insights to improve inventory management processes Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies or issues Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to inventory management Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the supply chain


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in planning and inventory management, preferably in the watches or wearables industry Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus

Work Experience

BE / B Tech in Mechanical / Production or equivalent preferably with MBA or equivalent (Operations / Supply Chain / General Management) Experience in Manufacturing Industry: 8 years Deeper knowledge in Supply Chain and Costing Process Strong analytical skill with tools like Excel Good exposure of ERP (esp. SAP) systems Passion for emerging trends in Information Technology Effective Communication Skills * Interpersonal Skills and Influencing multiple diverse stakeholders
