Job Title: Planning Incharge

Experience Required: 10-12 Years

Department: Planning & Coordination

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and monitor project planning schedules, work programs, and timelines. Develop

Bill of Materials (BOM)

and ensure accuracy for procurement and execution. Handle

cutting plans, estimation, and job loading

to optimize productivity and material usage. Coordinate with design, procurement, and production teams for timely availability of resources. Ensure efficient allocation of manpower, machinery, and materials based on project requirements. Monitor work progress against schedules and highlight delays with corrective actions. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on planning, resource utilization, and project status. Support management in decision-making by providing data on workload, capacity, and job status. Maintain proper documentation of planning activities and project records. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards during project execution.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of

BOM, cutting, estimation, and job loading

. Expertise in planning tools/software (e.g., MS Project or ERP systems). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication and coordination abilities with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under strict timelines. Leadership skills to guide and supervise planning team members.

Educational Qualification:

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil Engineering (or relevant field). Certification in Project Planning / Management will be an added advantage.
