, BDI delivers complex and large-scale infrastructure projects across the UAE. We are seeking a highly experienced Planning Engineer to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of pipeline projects from inception to completion.

Position Overview:

The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing detailed project schedules (including Level 3 and Level 4) for pipeline infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate must have

full-fledged project work experience

, covering the complete lifecycle from design to commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and scheduling function across engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning phases. Monitor project progress, analyze critical paths, and proactively implement corrective measures. Conduct risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard project timelines. Prepare and present detailed project performance reports (progress, variances, resource histograms, and S-curves). Develop, manage, and update comprehensive

Level 3 and Level 4 schedules

for large-scale pipeline projects. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure schedule accuracy and alignment with actual work progress. Maintain as-built schedules and document project delays with justifications. Mentor and guide junior planning engineers in advanced scheduling practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum

4+ years' proven experience

as a Planning Engineer in

pipeline infrastructure projects

. Demonstrated

end-to-end project execution experience

(engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning). Strong expertise in

Primavera P6

and MS Project, with hands-on experience in Level 3 & Level 4 scheduling. Solid understanding of pipeline design, construction methodologies, and industry standards. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
