To assist the project and planning teams in monitoring, coordinating, and controlling project activities for
commercial interior fit-out projects
. The role involves supporting project scheduling, progress tracking, documentation, and coordination among design, procurement, and site execution teams to ensure smooth project delivery within timelines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning Support
Assist in preparing and updating project schedules using
Microsoft Project (MSP)
or Excel.
Help in developing and maintaining
work breakdown structures (WBS)
and project timelines.
Support in tracking project milestones, deliverables, and critical path activities.
Coordinate with project teams to gather progress data and update schedules.
2. Coordination & Communication
Act as a link between design, procurement, and site teams to ensure alignment on project timelines.
Follow up with vendors, subcontractors, and site engineers for progress updates.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and share with the project manager.
Participate in project review meetings and record minutes of meetings (MOMs).
3. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain project-related documentation such as drawings, BOQs, schedules, and correspondence.
Support in preparing project trackers - material delivery, manpower, and work completion status.
Assist in preparing delay analysis or project deviation reports, when required.
Maintain data for project dashboards and presentations.
4. Site & Project Monitoring
Visit sites periodically to verify progress against the schedule.
Identify any potential delays or risks and inform the planning team for corrective action.
Support in tracking resource allocation and productivity at sites.
5. Coordination for Commercial Fit-Out Projects
Understand sequencing of works in
corporate interior projects
- civil, MEP, and finishing.
Coordinate with MEP and design teams to ensure integration in the project plan.
Ensure adherence to client specifications, design intent, and project timelines.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Basic understanding of
project planning and scheduling principles
.
Familiarity with
MS Project
or
Primavera (optional)
.
Strong organizational, coordination, and follow-up skills.
Good knowledge of
interior fit-out execution sequence
for commercial projects.
Excellent in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Educational Qualification & Experience:
Qualification:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering / Interior Design.
Experience:
1-3 years in
planning / coordination
for
interior fit-out or construction projects
(preferably commercial offices).
