Hiring For Planning Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

Project Control & Planning

? Works with all project disciplines to supervise and ensure understanding of total project schedule needs and integration of scheduled activities.

? Develop a suitable Work Breakdown Structure & logical sequencing of plan based on required and allocated resources for the project as per project/tender requirements, in conjunction with the HOD/AVP/GM, Site Project Manager and Client, present to Management and then monitor the project as per the agreed plan

? Interfaces with Management, onsite project team and client counterparts on need basis for specific planning and scheduling tasks.

? Prepares and plans project schedules and its analysis to determine criticality of schedule activities and recommend alternatives for schedule improvement to project team for discussion and/or decision.

? Monitor status of the projects, conferring with engineers, design team, clients, and others to discuss project, prepare documents or modify contract schedules.

? To analyze the gaps between the planned Vs actual and highlight the areas needing attention for action of the project team and present and discuss with management on regular basis.

? Review the impact of delays and re-schedule the program as applicable, preparation of Catch-up plan for slippage. Co-ordination with all parties to resolve problem areas / to overcome slippage.

? Periodic and continuous review by checking, analysis and review of Projects by Daily DPRs (Daily Progress Reports), WPR, MPR and with Look Ahead Schedules (2WLA/ 3MLA etc.)

? Preparation of Daily, Weekly, Monthly MIS reports as agreed and decided from time to time and as per specific project/client requirements, reviewing with all concerned & forwarding the same to the management/client for approval.

? Establish and communicate cost and schedule baselines and ensure control mechanisms are in place to monitor project performance.

? Assists in bid preparations in pre-stage on need basis. Attend the formal handover from Business Development team at the start of the project in accordance with Corporate Procedures.
