The Planning Engineer plays a critical role in the successful execution of projects by developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules and ensuring effective coordination among project stakeholders. This role involves analyzing project performance, identifying risks, and proposing mitigation strategies to ensure timely completion within budget and scope.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Detailed Project Schedules
using advanced tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Establish Baselines and Milestones
to track project progress.
Monitor Project
Progress against baseline schedules, identifying variances and delays.
Generate Progress Reports
and present
findings
to stakeholders.
Prepare Earned Value Analysis (EVA)
to assess project performance and forecast completion.
Collaborate Closely with project
managers, site teams, contractors, and consultants for updates.
Resolve Scheduling Conflicts
and
propose solutions
to optimize timelines.
Conduct Scenario Analyses
to assess the impact of schedule changes and recommend project acceleration.
Ensure
Optimal Allocation of Resources
including manpower, materials, and equipment.
Maintain
Accurate Records of schedules, revisions,
and related documentation for audit purposes.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/master's degree in project management
3-5 yrs of relevant experience
Proficiency in Primavera, MSP, Acitivity Bar Chart and other planning software.Proficient in Liasoning and Draft coordinationHaving knowledge and experience on RERA guidelines will be beneficial.
