As a Planning Engineer, you will work closely with our Client's Project Department as well as a multidisciplinary team of engineers and planners. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed and integrated project programmes using Microsoft Planner or Primavera P6 Essentials. This role will provide you exposure in Clean Rooms and Data Centre Projects
Job Responsibilities:
Update the project schedule using Primavera P6.
Monitor Subcontractor performance using EVA (Earned Value Analysis) to identify potentials issues and risks.
Create/ Update Progress Reports for Senior Management Teams.
Create/ Update Short-term Look Ahead Schedules to help Plan Project Works.
Record evidence of delays and coordinate delay notifications to be issued to the team.
Make modifications to the programme as required.
Maintenance of the Construction Schedule.
Track Planned versus Actual Progress on a Weekly Basis.
Working with the Construction Team to capture and log any issues affecting progress.
Attend meetings both internal and client based where required.
Monitor original versus actual budgets for scope growth/changes.
Ensure all progress is captured in updates on system.
Assist in Production/ Coordination of Weekly Construction Reports.
Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Knowledge of fit-out projects will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office systems required, Primavera P6 or Microsoft Planner is desirable.
Good communication Skills.
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and software.
