Studio Sabr seeks a Mid/Senior Planning Engineer to manage scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting for high-value interior fit-out projects exceeding ?70 Cr total portfolio value. The role ensures on-time, within-budget delivery across multiple sites, partnering with design, projects, procurement, and QS teams.

Role Overview

:

This full-time, work-from-office position is based in Whitefield (Nagondanahalli), Bangalore, with a 6-day work week. Expect occasional travel to project sites across India.

Ideal for professionals with 5-10 years in interiors/construction planning, ready to own complex, multi-project schedules using Primavera/MS Project.

Key Responsibilities

:

Develop and maintain L1-L3 baseline schedules, look-aheads (1/2/4-week), S-curves, and resource histograms for ?70 Cr+ projects, covering civil, MEP, joinery, finishes, and FF&E scopes.

Track daily/weekly site progress, analyze delays/variances, drive recovery plans, and manage EOT/variation claims with QS support.

Prepare cash flow forecasts, billing trackers, and MIS dashboards for leadership, flagging cost/resource risks early.

Coordinate drawing releases, material procurement timelines, and site sequencing with cross-functional teams.

Present weekly/monthly reports in client/management meetings, standardizing templates for consistency.

Qualifications & Experience Essential:

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).

5-10 years as Planning Engineer in interiors/fit-outs or building construction; Bengaluru project experience preferred.

Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6/MS Project, Excel (pivot tables, macros), and Power BI/Tableau for dashboards.

Preferred Exposure to high-volume projects (?50 Cr+), delay analysis, and claims management.

Knowledge of interior fit-out sequencing, BOQ takeoff, and contract terms.

Skills & Attributes:

Analytical mindset with strong logical sequencing and risk foresight.

Proactive under pressure, handling 5-10 concurrent projects with tight deadlines.

Excellent communication for team coordination, client updates, and vendor follow-ups.
