Job Description

The Planning Engineer shall be responsible for end-to-end project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control for the entire project lifecycle, covering engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, testing, and commissioning. The role ensures effective time, resource, and progress control in line with project milestones, contract requirements, and client schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and control integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project Prepare WBS, baseline schedules, look-ahead plans, and resource loading Track engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning progress Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, S-curves, and dashboards Identify delays, analyze critical paths, and propose recovery / mitigation plans Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, Construction, and Client teams Support invoicing, claims, EOTs, and change management with planning data

Qualification & Experience:

B.Tech / BE - Mechanical / Civil Engineering Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory); MS Project added advantage 7 to 9 years of experience in EPC / Oil & Gas / Industrial / Infrastructure projects
