Job Description

Responsibilities involve creating, monitoring, and updating project schedules, allocating resources, managing risks, and ensuring timely, budget-compliant project delivery by coordinating teams, analyzing progress, and reporting to stakeholders using project management software. They act as a central point for project organization, focusing on timelines, resources, and risk mitigation from start to finish.

Core Responsibilities

Project Scheduling:

Develop detailed project timelines (Gantt charts, WBS) and set milestones using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Resource Management:

Allocate labor, equipment, and materials effectively and track their usage.

Progress Monitoring:

Track daily, weekly, and monthly progress against the baseline schedule, identifying delays and variances.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks (e.g., site issues, material delays) and develop mitigation/contingency plans.

Reporting:

Prepare progress reports, cash flow curves, and presentations for project managers and clients.

Coordination:

Liaise with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and suppliers to keep everyone aligned.

Key Activities

Data Analysis:

Analyze project data to spot trends and improve future planning.

Site Visits:

Conduct site visits to verify progress and adherence to the plan.

Cost Control:

Assist with budgeting, cost estimation, and tracking project costs.

Meetings:

Participate in meetings to discuss project status and challenges.

Problem Solving:

Propose corrective actions for deviations and disruptions.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in project management software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
