Planning Coordinator

Diploma or BE (Bachelor of Engineering) graduates with 6-8 years of hands-on experience in

Production Planning and Control (PPC)

operations, preferably within an industrial or machinery manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Production Scheduling:

Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.

Prioritizing Production Orders

: Prioritize production schedules based on urgency, resource availability, and customer demand.

Resource Allocation:

Ensure that necessary resources (raw materials, Spares, machines, labour) are available for scheduled production runs.

Raw Material Management:

Monitor raw material levels and initiate procurement orders to maintain optimal stock levels.

Finished Goods Inventory:

Track and maintain finished goods inventory to meet delivery schedules without overstocking.

Inventory Optimization:

Minimize excess inventory and ensure proper inventory turnover in alignment with production schedules.

Cross-department Coordination:

Collaborate closely with procurement, production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure smooth production flow.

Vendor Communication:

Coordinate with external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.

Lead Time Management

: Monitor lead times for both materials and finished goods to ensure alignment with production schedules. Should have the ability to read

electrical, machining, and assembly drawings

, with relevant experience in the Planning Department of a manufacturing company. Familiarity with

P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams)

is essential.

Requirements:

Knowledgeable in sheet metal processes: laser cutting, bending, welding. Proficient in ERP/MRP systems. Experience with data analysis (MS. Excel) and forecasting. Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

As per the industrial norms. Salary will not constrain for the right candidate
