Tiara Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled
Planning & Billing Engineer
to support end-to-end project planning, monitoring, billing, and cost control functions from our Head Office in Indore. This role is integral to ensuring effective project delivery by managing project timelines, cost efficiency, and contractual compliance, while working remotely and coordinating with multiple stakeholders across project sites and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
:
1. Project Planning & Monitoring
Develop comprehensive project schedules using tools like
Primavera P6
or
MS Project
, integrating scope, time, resources, and cost.
Establish project baselines, WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), and monitor critical path and key milestones.
Collaborate with execution teams to collect site progress data and analyze schedule performance (Earned Value Management).
Generate and present detailed progress reports, dashboards, and delay analysis to management.
2. Billing & Commercial Management
Prepare and validate
Running Account (RA) bills
,
final bills
, and
client invoices
in accordance with contract terms and site measurements.
Scrutinize and certify subcontractor/vendor bills based on executed work and purchase orders.
Ensure timely submission and follow-up for client approvals and payments.
Coordinate with the Quantity Surveying team for material reconciliation and quantity verification.
3. Cost Control & Budget Management
Assist in preparation of project cost estimates and cash flow projections.
Monitor actual vs. budgeted costs and flag deviations for corrective action.
Prepare monthly project cost reports (MIS) and support the finance team in revenue recognition.
Ensure alignment with project financial goals and contractual commitments.
4. Documentation & Coordination
Maintain and update all planning and billing documentation as per ISO and project audit standards.
Facilitate interdepartmental coordination between design, procurement, contracts, and site teams.
Interface with clients, consultants, and vendors for project coordination, billing certification, and technical clarifications.
Qualifications & Experience
:
Education
: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Postgraduate qualification in Construction Management is a plus).
Experience
: 4-8 years of hands-on experience in project planning, billing, and cost control in
infrastructure
,
EPC
, or
construction
sectors.
Strong understanding of
contracts (EPC/Item rate/Lump sum)
, BOQ interpretation, and commercial terms.
Key Skills & Competencies
:
Proficiency in
Primavera P6
,
MS Project
,
AutoCAD
, and
MS Excel (Advanced)
.
Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle Primavera Contract Management, or equivalent.
Strong analytical, numerical, and report-writing skills.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities across remote and onsite teams.
Knowledge of construction methodologies, rates analysis, and government/CPWD billing formats.
Work Setup

This is a
remote position
based out of the
Indore Head Office
with travel to project sites as required.
Requires proactive communication , high self-discipline, and ability to work independently in a virtual setup.
