Position: Billing Engineer

Role Overview:

The Billing Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial aspects of construction projects by ensuring accurate billing, timely payments, and proper cost tracking. The role requires close coordination with clients, contractors, and internal teams to maintain smooth billing operations and ensure compliance with contractual and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and verify

Bills of Quantities (BOQ)

in line with approved drawings and project specifications. Perform

quantity calculations and measurements

, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Prepare and process

invoices, client bills, and contractor bills

. Conduct

rate analysis, material reconciliation, and cost tracking

for projects. Ensure billing aligns with project milestones and contractual agreements. Maintain proper documentation of all billing activities and coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants. Support project teams in

budget management, cost forecasting, and financial reporting

. Handle

end-to-end client billing

and ensure timely clearance of bills.

Skills & Qualifications:

Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field. 3-8 years of relevant experience in construction project billing (range can be adjusted as per need). Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and material reconciliation. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP/billing software (if applicable). Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
