Job Description

Job Purpose

To support effective project execution by preparing AutoCAD drawings, quantity take-offs, estimates, BOQs, planning schedules, and billing in line with approved drawings, site conditions, and contract requirements.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. AutoCAD & Drawing Responsibilities

Prepare, modify, and update AutoCAD drawings for civil works including roads, buildings, foundations, drainage, and industrial structures Extract accurate quantities from drawings for estimation and billing purposes Maintain drawing records, revisions, and as-built drawings as per site progress
2. Estimation & Quantity Surveying

Prepare detailed estimates, BOQs, and rate analysis based on drawings and specifications Carry out quantity take off for civil works such as earthwork, PCC, RCC, masonry, roads, and finishing items Assist in preparation of tender estimates and internal cost budgets
3. Planning & Progress Monitoring

Prepare work schedules, bar charts, and basic planning formats Track daily, weekly, and monthly progress against planned quantities Coordinate with site engineers to capture actual executed quantities
4. Billing & Documentation

Prepare RA bills and final bills as per contract terms and approved drawings Verify measurements with site team and maintain Measurement Books (MBs) Support submission of bills to client/consultant and attend billing discussions if required
5. Coordination & Liaison

Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and contractors for drawings, quantities, and execution updates Assist in responding to client/consultant queries related to drawings, quantities, and bills
6. Records & Compliance

Maintain proper documentation of drawings, estimates, bills, and approvals Ensure work and billing are aligned with contract conditions, specifications, and company SOPs
Reporting To

Project Manager / Project Head / Planning Head

Required Qualifications

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
Required Experience

2-5 years (or as per requirement) in civil construction projects Experience in Road Work, Building Works, Foundations, and Industrial Projects preferred
Key Skills & Competencies

Proficient in AutoCAD (2D drafting & quantity extraction) Good knowledge of billing, estimation, BOQs, and rate analysis Understanding of civil drawings, specifications, and measurements Basic planning and progress tracking skills Good coordination and communication abilities Working knowledge of MS Excel and documentation
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
