They are responsible for project scheduling, cost estimation, and ensuring that bills are prepared and approved accurately as per contract terms.
Key Responsibilities:1. Planning & Scheduling:
Develop project schedules using tools like
MS & RCC Project
.
Define project milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
Monitor project progress and ensure timely execution.
Coordinate with different departments (design, procurement, and execution) to align work schedules.
Identify potential delays and propose corrective actions.
2. Billing & Cost Estimation:
Prepare
client & subcontractor bills
as per work progress.
Verify and certify
subcontractor bills
against BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and contract agreements.
Coordinate with the finance team for payment processing.
Reconcile materials, labor, and costs for billing accuracy.
Maintain records of variations and extra work for claims.
3. Quantity Surveying & BOQ Management:
Prepare
Quantity Take-offs
based on GFC (Good for Construction) drawings.
Assist in preparing cost estimates and budget forecasting.
Ensure that the BOQ is aligned with actual site progress.
4. Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain project progress reports, dashboards, and cash flow statements.
Ensure proper documentation of bills, work orders, and contract variations.
Prepare
weekly/monthly progress reports
for management review.
Track and report deviations in time and cost.
5. Coordination & Communication:
Liaise with
clients, consultants, and contractors
for billing approvals.
Work closely with site engineers to validate actual work done.
Attend progress meetings and provide updates on planning and billing aspects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education:
B.E./B.Tech (Civil Engineering) or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Experience:
2-3 years in construction project planning and billing.

Software Proficiency:
MS/RCC Project, AutoCAD, Excel.

Technical Knowledge:
BOQ preparation, cost estimation, contract billing, and project scheduling.

Soft Skills:
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
