: Ship Newbuilding PlannerPosition Overview



We are seeking an experienced

Ship Newbuilding Planner

with hands-on

shipyard experience

to plan, monitor, and control schedules for ship newbuilding projects. The role involves close coordination with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities



Develop, maintain, and control

integrated project schedules

for ship newbuilding projects Create and manage

Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), milestones, and CPM-based schedules

Coordinate planning activities with

engineering, procurement, fabrication, outfitting, and commissioning

teams Monitor and track project progress across all shipbuilding phases Identify

schedule risks, delays, and critical path issues

, and propose effective

mitigation and recovery plans

Prepare and present

progress reports, dashboards, look-ahead schedules, and forecasts

Develop

yard-level resource plans

, including manpower, equipment, and facility utilization Support

change management

, impact analysis, and

what-if / scenario planning

Ensure schedule alignment with contractual milestones and yard execution strategies Maintain planning data accuracy and reporting discipline in line with project controls best practices

Qualifications & Experience



Degree / Diploma in

Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 5 years of shipyard experience

in

ship newbuilding

(Candidates with experience limited to ship repair, conversion, or offshore projects will not be considered)*
Strong hands-on experience with

Primavera P6

In-depth understanding of

shipbuilding processes, sequences, and terminology

Experience working in a

shipyard or EPC environment

is mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?80,000.00 - ?100,000.00 per month
