Role Overview

You will lead both student placements and internal recruitments at Web D School. The main focus is on placements, as you'll be a key part of the Student Success Team.

Key Responsibilities

Placements & Corporate Relations

Build and maintain strong relationships with companies for student placements. Organize placement drives, job fairs, and career events. Conduct resume workshops, mock interviews, and career guidance sessions. Regularly interact with students to assess their job readiness. Track and report placement outcomes and performance metrics. Coordinate with trainers, student success teams, and soft skills trainers. Organize guest lectures, expert sessions, and networking meets. Manage our student job portal and regularly update openings.

Recruitment & Talent Management

Source and onboard freelance trainers, industry experts, and full-time hires. Handle end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, coordinating, and onboarding. Build a strong talent database for future roles. Help build Web D School's employer brand in the creative education space. Oversee documentation and internal onboarding processes.

What We're Looking For

5+ years in student placement, corporate HR, or recruitment roles. Prior experience in education, staffing, or consulting firms is a plus. Strong communication & networking skills - able to engage both students and executives. Solid understanding of creative/tech roles (UX/UI, Graphic Design, Dev, etc.). Hands-on with LinkedIn, job portals, ATS/CRM tools, and freelance platforms. Willing to travel within Chennai for client/college visits.
