The Placement Officer will be responsible for building strong industry linkages, arranging student placements, and conducting training sessions on interview preparation, soft skills, and employability enhancement. The role involves career counseling, resume-building guidance, and ensuring students are job-ready with the necessary communication and professional skills

Key Responsibilities:
Placement & Industry Connect:
Build and maintain relationships with companies, corporates, and recruiters for student placement opportunities.
Identify job openings and internship opportunities suitable for students.
Organize campus drives, interviews, and job fairs in collaboration with industry partners.
Maintain a database of students, recruiters, and placement statistics.
Achieve defined placement targets for each academic cycle.
Student Training & Career Development:
Conduct pre-placement training programs covering GD, interview skills, resume writing, aptitude, and communication skills.
Guide students in preparing for technical tests, HR rounds, and group discussions.
Organize mock interviews and aptitude tests to assess job readiness.
Provide one-on-one career counseling and mentorship to students.
Ensure students are prepared with soft skills, professional etiquette, and confidence.
Administrative & Reporting:
Maintain records of placement activities, student progress, and recruiter feedback.
Prepare and present regular reports on placement status to management.
Coordinate with academic and faculty teams to align training with industry requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, Education, or relevant field.
Prior experience in placement coordination, recruitment, or corporate training.
Strong network with recruiters, HR professionals, and companies (preferred).
Excellent communication, presentation, and counseling skills.
Knowledge of aptitude, soft skills, and interview techniques.
Ability to guide students with patience, motivation, and confidence-building.
Proficiency in MS Office, career portals, and CRM tools.
