Position Overview:

Help The Blind Foundation is seeking a dynamic and dedicated

Placement Officer

to facilitate employment opportunities for visually impaired. The role involves coordinating with corporates, training institutions, and colleges to ensure successful placements and internship opportunities for students supported by the foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with companies, training partners, and NGOs to create job and internship opportunities for visually impaired students. Facilitate pre-placement training, including resume building, interview preparation, and soft skills. Organize and conduct placement drives, job fairs, and employer engagement events. Track placement data and maintain detailed records of candidate progress and employment outcomes. Regularly follow up with placed candidates and employers to ensure retention and address concerns. Collaborate with the internal training team to align student training programs with industry needs.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, HR, Education, or related fields. 3-5 years of experience in placement coordination, HR, or social development sectors (experience with persons with disabilities) Strong communication, interpersonal, and networking skills. Sensitivity and commitment towards the inclusion and empowerment of persons with disabilities. Good command over MS Office, emails, and reporting tools. Fluency in English and any regional language.

Desirable:

Experience working in NGOs, skilling, or education sectors. Familiarity with disability inclusion, particularly visual impairment. Ability to travel to different project locations as needed.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
