Job Summary

Niyatee Foundation is seeking a proactive and result-oriented Placement Officer to support its Pre-Recruitment Coaching Centre and youth employability programmes. The role focuses on facilitating placements, building employer linkages, and preparing students for employment across government, private, and skill-based sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain linkages with employers, training partners, placement agencies, and industries Identify job opportunities, recruitment drives, job fairs, and campus placements for students Coordinate and facilitate placement interviews, recruitment processes, and employer visits Prepare and update student placement profiles, including CVs, aptitude records, and employability readiness Organize career guidance sessions, employability workshops, and orientation programmes Support students in resume writing, interview preparation, and workplace readiness Track, document, and report placement outcomes, job offers, and joining status Maintain a placement database and MIS for internal review and donor reporting Coordinate with Academic Coordinators and Faculty to align training outcomes with market demand
Liaise with alumni and employers for feedback, retention tracking, and post-placement support Ensure adherence to organizational placement policies and ethical standards Good Communication skill, Writing skill and Presentation skill

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Social Work, Management, Education, or a related discipline from a recognized university

Experience Required:

3-5 years of experience in placement coordination, recruitment, career counselling, or employability programmes

Experience with youth-focused training institutions, NGOs, or skill development projects preferred (Candidates with strong employer networks and relevant exposure are encouraged to apply.)

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and coordination skills

Ability to work effectively with employers, students, and training teams

Understanding of job market trends and recruitment processes

Good communication skills with basic computer and MIS skills

Proficiency in English and Odia required; Hindi is an added advantage

Result-oriented approach with strong follow-up ability
