Job Placement Officer Responsibilities & Duties
Provide one-on-one career counseling and job placement services to job seekers
Screen job openings and match job seekers with appropriate opportunities
Develop and maintain relationships with local employers to identify job openings and promote the organization's job placement services
Conduct outreach to community organizations and local schools to raise awareness of job placement services
Provide job search support, including resume and cover letter writing assistance, interview preparation, and negotiation strategies
Maintain accurate records of job seekers' progress and job placement outcomes
Stay current on local job market trends and available job opportunities
