The Placement Officer is responsible for facilitating employment opportunities for students by developing and maintaining relationships with industry partners, organizing campus recruitment drives, and preparing students for successful careers. The role involves coordinating between students, faculty, and recruiters to ensure effective placement outcomes and continuous improvement in employability standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with
industries, companies, and recruitment agencies
for placement and internship opportunities.
Organize
campus recruitment drives
, job fairs, and industry interaction programs.
Coordinate with department heads and faculty to identify eligible students for placements and internships.
Guide students in preparing
resumes, cover letters, and interview skills
, and conduct mock interviews and career counseling sessions.
Collect and maintain a database of students' academic and professional profiles.
Track and report placement statistics, industry feedback, and recruitment outcomes to management.
Facilitate
industrial training and internship programs
for students in relevant fields.
Build and maintain long-term partnerships with key recruiters and HR professionals.
Keep updated with
industry trends
, skill requirements, and emerging job market dynamics.
Coordinate alumni engagement activities to strengthen placement networks.

Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree
in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or related field.
2-5 years of experience
in placement coordination, recruitment, or career services (preferably in an educational or training institution).
Experience in
corporate relations, HR, or talent acquisition
is an added advantage.
