Position Title: Placement Officer

Location: Calicut / Manjeri / Kochi

Role Overview:

The Placement Officer will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with industry partners, coordinating student internships, and ensuring successful job placements. The role demands strong communication, networking, and organizational skills to bridge the gap between students and the corporate sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain tie-ups with companies, firms, and institutions for internship and placement opportunities.

Coordinate student internship programs and ensure proper documentation and reporting.

Track placement activities and maintain detailed records of student employment status.

Organize campus recruitment drives, employer interactions, and career guidance sessions.

Support students with interview preparation, resume building, and career counseling.

Liaise with academic departments to align training programs with current job market requirements.

Prepare periodic placement reports and submit updates to management.

Requirements:

Qualification: MBA / Master's Degree in HR, Marketing, or related field.

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in placement coordination, HR, or institutional tie-ups (education/training sector preferred).

Excellent communication and networking skills.

Ability to build and sustain professional relationships with corporate clients.

Strong organizational and reporting skills.
