ICT Academy of Kerala is a social enterprise created in a Public Private Partnership model (PPP) for imparting ICT skills to the youths of Kerala and improve their employability opportunities in the industry. The company is supported by the Govt. of India, partnered by the Govt. of Kerala, and the IT industry.
We're seeking a seasoned Placement Officer with 5-8 years of experience in placement activities to lead our placements. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with employers, identifying job opportunities, and facilitating placements for our students/candidates. This role requires frequent travel within Kerala and occasional travel to other parts of India.
1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry partners, and alumni to identify job opportunities.
2. Conduct campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and other placement events.
3. Travel to various locations within Kerala and outside to meet with employers, attend job fairs, and explore new job opportunities.
4. Provide career guidance and counseling to students/candidates.
5. Maintain accurate records of placements, job opportunities, and industry trends.
6. Collaborate with faculty and staff to align placement efforts with academic programs.
Requirements
Travel Requirements:
Frequent travel within Kerala (approximately 2-3 times a week)
Occasional travel to other parts of India (approximately 1-2 times a month)
Requirements:
Master's degree in a relevant field
5-8 years of experience in placement, recruitment, or a related field
Proven track record of successful placements and relationship-building with employers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
* Ability to travel frequently
