The Placement Officer will be responsible for building strong industry connections, coordinating campus recruitment drives, preparing students for interviews, and ensuring successful placement opportunities. This role requires excellent communication skills, networking ability, and a strong commitment to student career development.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with companies, industries, and recruitment agencies for student placements.
Organize campus recruitment drives, job fairs, workshops, and internship opportunities.
Guide and counsel students on career options, interview preparation, and soft skills.
Maintain an updated database of students' profiles, placement status, and recruiter contacts.
Coordinate with academic departments to align student skills with industry requirements.
Prepare placement reports, statistics, and yearly placement records for management.
Monitor industry trends and update students about emerging job opportunities.
Act as a bridge between students, faculty, and recruiters.
Requirements:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Management, HR, Education, or related field.
Prior experience in training, placement, or career counseling preferred.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.
Ability to handle multiple recruitment activities simultaneously.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic database management.
