We are actively scaling up a Campus-to-Corporate program that works towards tackling the growing skill gap faced by youth in India. Through a proven program design, we identify, skill, and empower underprivileged youth through a combination of skills training, corporate counselling support, and strong corporate linkages.
The program embeds itself in the ecosystem of existing education providers and works to create system-level change and student empowerment from the ground up.
The program's success hinges on young people who are passionate about youth employability and committed to executing ground-level initiatives with measurable impact. The role calls for an organized, empathetic, and highly motivated individual who demonstrates the zeal to scale impact and drive meaningful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
The Corporate Linkages - Expert will be responsible for:
Understanding students' corporate/job needs through regular interactions
Finding suitable job opportunities through online/offline platforms and personal networks
Conducting counselling sessions for students
Arranging events, drives, and connects between corporates and students to facilitate interviews and selections
Client mapping and connecting with corporate HR teams who hire fresh graduates across sectors
Building and managing long-term relationships with recruiters
Organizing placement drives, corporate events, and hiring fests
Collating and maintaining data related to interviews, selections, offers, and joining
Updating relevant dashboards and reports
Ensuring students are placed in corporate roles
Providing post-placement support and counselling related to joining and retention
Motivating students to ensure job continuity and retention
Role Details
This role works closely with corporates on one side and students on the other. The individual will operate within the IT/ITeS hiring ecosystem to understand job market requirements and match student skills with corporate demand to maximize confirmed job offers.
The role involves:
Providing pre-placement support by sharing market insights, recruiter pipelines, and job readiness information
Preparing students with both generic and role-specific employer information
Managing corporate expectations and hiring requirements
Coordinating logistics for placement drives and corporate engagement events
Ensuring a minimum of 70% placement outcomes through corporate drives, events, and self-placements
Collecting data on joining and retention
Supporting placed students to improve long-term retention
The role also requires continuous innovation to improve program outcomes and to drive positive behavior change toward IT/ITeS sector employment.
Preferred Skills & Experience
4+ years of experience placing students in technical roles (IT/ITeS, software development, testing, product support, IT support, etc.)
Proven experience handling fresher/entry-level tech placements (BE/BTech or similar)
Strong corporate HR and recruiter network within the IT industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in relationship management and corporate partnerships
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Graduate/Postgraduate degree preferred
