Job Title: Placement Coordinator
Reports To: Dean - Training, Placement & Corporate Relations
Job Summary
A placement coordinator serves as a key member of the Training and Placement Department, responsible for managing data, coordinating campus recruitment drives, and ensuring effective communication between students, faculty, and corporate partners. His/ her role contributes to smooth execution of placement activities .
Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Entry
Maintain and update student databases including academic records, resumes, and placement statistics.
Prepare periodic reports and MIS for management review.
Campus Drive Coordination
Assist in organizing recruitment drives, pre-placement talks, and interviews.
Ensure smooth logistical support for visiting recruiters and coordinate with student volunteers.
Track participation and outcomes of each campus drive.
Departmental Coordination
Act as a liaison between different academic departments, students, and the placement office.
Communicate placement-related updates, schedules, and requirements.
Support in scheduling training sessions, workshops, and employer interactions.
Administrative Support
Maintain placement office records, correspondence, and communication.
Assist in drafting official mails, notices, and announcements related to placements.
Skills & Competencies
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data management tools are must .
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with students, faculty, and corporate representatives.
Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
