Makbig Future by Catalyst is looking for a proactive and well-organized
Placement Coordinator
to manage student placements, employer coordination, and placement-related activities at our Calicut center. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between students, trainers, and hiring companies to ensure successful placement outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate placement activities for students across various programs
Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring partners and companies
Schedule interviews, assessments, and placement drives
Share eligible student profiles with recruiters and follow up on feedback
Maintain accurate placement records, reports, and trackers
Guide students on interview preparation, resume updates, and placement process
Coordinate with internal teams (trainers, academic counsellors, HR)
Ensure timely communication of interview results and joining updates
Support campus recruitment drives and job fairs
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly placement reports for management
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (HR / Management preferred)
1-3 years of experience in placements, recruitment, or coordination roles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good organizational and follow-up abilities
Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and email communication
Ability to handle multiple students and recruiters simultaneously
Positive attitude and result-oriented approach
Preferred Skills:
Experience in education, training institutes, or skill development centers
Knowledge of placement tracking and reporting
Familiarity with interview scheduling and candidate coordination
