The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for managing and supporting the placement and career assistance activities of the institution. The role involves coordinating with students, trainers, and companies to ensure successful job placements for students enrolled in 6-month and 1-year job-oriented courses. This position is suitable for freshers with good communication and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
Student Placement Support
Maintain and update student placement records and profiles
Guide students on resume preparation, interview skills, and workplace readiness
Collect student preferences regarding job roles, locations, and industries
Track student progress and placement outcomes
Industry & Employer Coordination
Identify and connect with companies, HR professionals, and recruiters
Share student profiles with potential employers
Maintain a database of companies and placement partners
Coordination & Communication
Act as a link between students, faculty, and recruiters
Schedule interviews, tests, and orientation sessions
Communicate placement-related information clearly to students
Follow up with employers after interviews
Required Skills & Qualities
Good verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, Email)
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks
Friendly and student-oriented approach
Basic understanding of recruitment and placement processes
Willingness to learn and grow in the role
Educational Qualification
MBA (HR / Marketing / Operations) preferred
Graduation in any discipline is also acceptable
Experience
Experience is not compulsory
Prior experience in placement, HR, recruitment, training, or student coordination will be an added advantage
