The Placement Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing campus placement activities. The role involves engaging with industries, preparing students for employability, and ensuring maximum placement opportunities for students across all engineering disciplines.
Build and maintain strong relationships with recruiters, industries, and corporate partners.
Coordinate campus placement drives, pool drives, and internship opportunities.
Identify and approach new companies for recruitment partnerships.
Maintain updated student profiles and eligibility data for placement.
Ensure smooth logistics for recruiters during campus drives.
Monitor placement statistics and submit periodic reports to management.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed placement records (on-campus, off-campus, higher studies, entrepreneurship).
Prepare placement brochures, company visit reports, and annual placement summaries.
Present placement data in percentage and graphical formats for Governing Council, NAAC, NBA, and other accreditations.
Key Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication and networking skills.
Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office/ERP systems for data management.
Work Mode
Full-time, based on campus.
Requires flexibility to work beyond regular hours during placement drives.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's / degree is mandatory
Prior experience in placements, HR, corporate relations, or student counseling preferred.
Fresh candidates with strong networking and communication skills may also be considered.
