Key Responsibilities

:

Pizza Creation

: Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas, including classic and gourmet options, following Epic Poetry Cafe's recipes and standards.

Dough and Sauce Preparation

: Make pizza dough and sauces from scratch, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch.

Ingredient Management

: Handle and store pizza ingredients according to food safety regulations, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.

Station Management

: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station; manage inventory and equipment.

Quality Control

: Monitor the quality, presentation, and portion sizes of pizzas to ensure they meet our high standards and customer expectations.

Team Collaboration

: Work closely with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure timely and efficient pizza service.

Customer Interaction

: Engage with guests if needed, to enhance their dining experience and accommodate special requests or dietary needs.

Continuous Improvement

: Stay updated on industry trends and techniques; actively contribute to menu development and creative pizza ideas.

Qualifications

:

Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or similar role in a restaurant or cafe setting. Proficiency in pizza dough preparation, sauce making, and pizza baking techniques. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
