Job Description

Seeking an energetic and skilled Pizza Maker to join our team and create delicious, high-quality pizzas for our customers. This role involves preparing dough, assembling ingredients, baking pizzas, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and a variety of toppings (meats, vegetables, cheeses) according to company recipes and customer preferences.

- Assemble and bake pizzas to perfection, ensuring consistent quality and taste.

- Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

- Monitor ingredient freshness and inventory, reporting shortages to management.

- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.

- Train and mentor junior staff in pizza preparation techniques, when required.

- Package and present pizzas and other food items correctly for dine-in, takeaway, or delivery

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and consistent quality.

- Assist with other kitchen duties, such as prepping ingredients and cleaning utensils

- Respond to customer feedback and ensure excellent customer service.

Requirements

- Previous experience in pizza making or in a kitchen environment preferred.

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Food Handler's certification is an advantage.

- Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

- Ability to operate kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, and slicers.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Physical stamina; ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
