Position - Piping Stress Engineer

Industry - FPSO / Offshore Oil & Gas

Location - Bangalore

Experience: 8+ years

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Our Client is a leading Japanese Multinational Company in the FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) domain is seeking an experienced Piping Stress Engineer to join its offshore engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:



- Perform detailed piping stress analysis for FPSO and offshore projects in line with international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).

- Develop and validate stress models, analyze sustained, thermal, and occasional load cases, and recommend design optimizations.

- Coordinate with piping layout, supports, civil, and structural teams to ensure design integrity and constructability.

- Review vendor documents, stress reports, and ensure compliance with project specifications.

- Support design reviews, HAZOP studies, and engineering deliverables from FEED to detailed engineering.

Candidate Profile:



- Hands-on experience with piping stress analysis software such as CAESAR II or equivalent.

- Strong exposure to FPSO and offshore oil & gas projects.

- Experience working in multidisciplinary and multicultural project environments.

- Strong analytical capability with effective communication skills.
