API, NEMA, ASTM, ISO, and international codes.

Job Purpose

To perform stress analysis and flexibility studies of piping systems ensuring compliance with ADNOC

standards, ASME codes, and project specifications. Deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective designs by

mitigating piping stresses, ensuring integrity of connected equipment, and supporting project execution

from FEED through commissioning.

Key Accountabilities

1) Piping Stress Analysis

Perform static and dynamic stress analysis using CAESAR II (or equivalent) for critical piping
systems.

Evaluate sustained, operating, thermal, seismic, wind, vibration, slug flow, and blast loads. Perform nozzle load calculations on equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, exchangers,
tanks, vessels) as per API/ASME standards.

Conduct spring hanger design, expansion loop evaluation, and support optimization.

2) Codes, Standards & Compliance

Ensure designs comply with ADNOC Engineering Standards, ASME B31.3, and client
specifications.

Check piping flexibility, allowable stresses, and load criteria per industry standards. Verify interface loads with rotating/static equipment and provide solutions.

3) Documentation & Deliverable

s

Prepare stress analysis reports, line flexibility studies, and stress-critical line lists. Develop and issue pipe support specifications, special support drawings, and vendor data review. Provide inputs to isometric drawings, piping layout, and construction deliverables.
