Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate project design assignments and guide design teams. Define system requirements, instrumentation, and control logic. Perform system hydraulic calculations and pump selection/sizing. Select appropriate piping materials, valves, and equipment. Handle selection and specification of reactors, vessels, heat exchangers, and centrifuges. Review and coordinate detailed pipe routing for compliance with system design. Create process flow diagrams (PFD), P&IDs, valve lists, line lists, and construction sheets. Conduct technical bid evaluations and vendor drawing reviews. Support procurement and factory acceptance testing (FAT) of mechanical equipment. Administer equipment contracts and manage technical coordination. Review calculations and design documents for compliance with standards. Mentor junior team members and collaborate with external stakeholders. Improve departmental work procedures and workflows.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 2-6 years of experience in piping design, rotating equipment, and process systems Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, PDMS, and other 2D/3D tools Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Prior consulting engineering experience preferred
