Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible to develop and timely delivery of drawings, P&ID drawings as per URS, GA & Layouts drawings, Piping drawings, BOM as per Project schedule. Prepare comprehensive project plans with technical objectives and detailed cost estimates. Research competitor products, Customer challenges and collaborate with the product development team to generate ideas for making world-class products. Analyze new components, materials, and technologies to evaluate functionality for all new projects. Responsible to develop and timely delivery of drawings, P&ID drawings as per URS, GA & Layouts drawings, Piping drawings, BOM as per Project schedule. Meeting with Customers and design teams to determine mechanical applications and requirements. Review the progress on a project with a team and submit a progress report to stakeholders. Analyze and perform quantitative assessment of design prototypes in line with regulatory and industry norms to tackle all regulatory and marketing issues. Develop and build prototypes and run tests to measure their level of function. Calculate cost estimates for product designs and development and obtain approvals on cost. Design products using CAD, and consult with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure that designs are feasible. Liaising with clients, designers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure coherence. Perform the FMEA program for new products. Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology, design trends, and engineering best practices to design and build the projects in time and within the budgetary parameters. Search right components and the right vendor in the market for product development. Generate inquiries for components required by the vendors and negotiate with vendors on technical parameters. Record and evaluate testing data, altering designs as necessary to bring them to safety, performance, and efficiency standards. Consult with Manufacturing teams during product manufacturing, advising them on design specifications and providing physical assistance when required. Participate in FAT, and resolve customer queries that arise during FAT, Timely closing of the FAT points. Visit the site as and when required to support the service team during installation and commissioning. Participate in CAPA programs to promote continuous product improvement initiatives

Work Experience Requirements:

Hands-on experience in designing Sterile manufacturing Suites, Liquid Syrups, and Ointment suites in CAD software like Autodesk, AutoCAD Inventor, Plant 3D, and Solid Edge. Good Knowledge of P&IDs, In-depth understanding of Bio-Pharmaceutical / Pharma process. Good knowledge of Standards ASME BPE, ISO, DIN. Good process knowledge of Fermenters/ Bioreactors, Pressure Vessel, Manufacturing Vessels, Holding Vessels, CIP, SIP, Ointments, Creams, and liquid orals.

6 to 8 Months
