Job Requirements
: Piping Engineer
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Piping Engineer to join our team at Quest Global. As a Piping Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of piping systems for various energy projects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Design and develop piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical specifications to determine the most suitable piping solutions.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, including isometric and orthographic views.
- Perform stress analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of piping systems.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of piping systems.
- Review and approve vendor documents and drawings.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor the installation and performance of piping systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the design, construction, or operation phases.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in piping technology and industry best practices.
Work Experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Piping Engineer in the energy industry.
- Strong knowledge of piping design principles, codes, and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.).
- Proficiency in using piping design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Familiarity with stress analysis software (CAESAR II, ANSYS, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Professional engineering license is preferred.
