Key Responsibilities
Prepare
piping layout drawings
using AutoCAD 2D & 3D
Develop
piping isometrics
, GA drawings, and spool drawings
Prepare
fabrication and erection drawings
Interpret P&IDs and engineering specifications
Ensure correct pipe routing, supports, slopes, and clearances
Update drawings based on site requirements and redline markups
Coordinate with piping, mechanical, civil, and electrical teams
Maintain drawing registers and document control
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / ITI in Mechanical or Piping Engineering
Strong proficiency in
AutoCAD 2D & 3D
Good knowledge of
P&ID, piping symbols, and standards
Understanding of pipe supports, fittings, valves, and flanges
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Skills (Optional)
Knowledge of
ASME / ANSI / ISO piping standards
Site experience and as-built drawing preparation
Experience
1-2 years of piping drafting experience
