Job Description

Drafting and Design

: Creating two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) technical drawings, including

piping layouts

, general arrangement (GA) drawings, and

isometric drawings

for fabrication and installation.

Interpretation

: Reading and interpreting engineering documents like Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (

P & IDs

), plot plans, and equipment layouts to accurately translate them into detailed piping drawings.

Coordination

: Collaborating with engineers, designers, and other disciplines (e.g., civil, structural, electrical) to ensure designs are clash-free and integrate seamlessly with the overall project.

Documentation

: Annotating drawings with critical information, such as bills of materials, dimensions, and weld details, and maintaining comprehensive drawing logs.

Compliance

: Ensuring all drawings adhere to project specifications, industry codes, and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI).
