Job Summary

We are hiring a skilled

Piping Draftsman

with a mechanical engineering background and strong expertise in CAD drafting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and updating piping layouts, interpreting engineering drawings, and incorporating field-based changes into accurate documentation. This role involves close coordination with engineering and execution teams to ensure constructible and compliant outputs.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare piping layouts based on

P&ID diagrams

,

isometric drawings

, and engineering inputs Conduct

field measurements

and incorporate real-time changes into updated drawings Draft and revise

as-built documentation

based on site modifications and redline markups Develop and optimize

factory layout plans

in coordination with mechanical and process teams Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to validate routing, dimensions, and constructability Maintain drawing logs, revision records, and ensure timely delivery of updated documentation Support layout feasibility checks and assist in resolving routing or connectivity issues

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in

Mechanical Engineering

or related technical field 2-5 years of experience in piping drafting and layout preparation Proficiency in

AutoCAD

or equivalent CAD software Strong understanding of

piping systems

material specifications

, and industrial layout principles Experience in

field verification

site measurements

, and

as-built updates

Ability to read and interpret

engineering drawings

Detail-oriented with strong documentation and coordination skills
