Job Description

Job Requirements

• Design and Layout: Develop detailed piping designs using 2D and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD).
• Compliance: Ensure designs adhere to industry standards (e.g., ASME codes), project specifications, and design instructions.
• Isometric Drawing: Extract isometrics from 3D models, which are essential for fabrication and construction
• Material Selection: Select appropriate pipe materials, fittings, and equipment for the system
• Coordination: Work with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to resolve design issues and ensure project success
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed piping documentation, including drawings, specifications, and line lists
• Model Reviews: Participate in CAD model reviews and provide technical support
• Problem Solving: Resolve design-related issues, revise models, and ensure designs are accurate and feasible

Work Experience
CAD Software Proficiency: Expertise in 2D and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD).
Piping Knowledge: Understanding of piping systems, materials, and industry standards
Engineering Principles: Knowledge of fluid dynamics, stress analysis, and other relevant engineering principles
Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders
