Design Engineer - Piping

Function:

Utility Systems (Water Systems, Compressed Air, Boiler, Nitrogen, Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Fire Fighting Systems)

Key Responsibilities

Job Objective

To design, plan, and coordinate utility systems with a strong technical understanding of pharmaceutical and industrial utility requirements, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and operational efficiency.

Principal Accountabilities

Prepare piping layouts along with accurate pipe sizing calculations. Develop plant room layouts and equipment layouts. Prepare detailed piping layouts for utility systems. Create and review Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID). Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings for various utility equipment. Coordinate utility drawings with other disciplines, including civil, mechanical, and electrical teams. Design and size capital equipment for boiler systems, compressed air systems, and water systems based on process requirements and user points. Design Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and fire-fighting systems in compliance with pharmaceutical industry norms and statutory regulations.

Education

BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

3 to 5 years of relevant experience in utility system design

Compensation

?3 to ?5 LPA (Based on experience and suitability)

Knowledge & Skill Set

Proficiency in AutoCAD Strong understanding of utility system design and engineering principles
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
